Welcome to My Journey
Founder → Investor
I’m a founder turned investor with a background in software engineering, fintech, and early-stage venture investing.
My path started with building products from the ground up - not from theory, but from real execution. I founded and led PayI, a fintech company developing next-generation payment terminals, combining patented technology with practical, real-world use cases.
That experience shaped how I see companies today: not as ideas on slides, but as systems that must work under pressure.
Building Before Backing
Before investing, I spent years inside the challenges founders face every day - product decisions, hiring, fundraising, and navigating uncertainty.
At PayI, I was involved end to end: defining the product roadmap, working with engineers, engaging investors, and leading strategic discussions with potential partners and acquirers. Seeing how decisions compound over time taught me the difference between progress and motion.
That perspective now informs every investment and advisory relationship I take on.
Investing & Advisory Work
Today, I work closely with early-stage founders and investors across Europe and North America.
My focus is on technology-driven companies, particularly in fintech, AI, and SaaS. I’m drawn to founders who think clearly, execute deliberately, and are willing to make hard decisions early.
I support founders around strategy, fundraising readiness, product thinking, and long-term positioning - always with a hands-on, grounded approach.
How I Think
I believe most startups don’t fail because of a lack of ideas.
They fail because of misalignment, poor execution, or unclear priorities.
My approach combines an operator’s mindset with an investor’s discipline: understanding risk, focusing on fundamentals, and building for durability rather than hype.
Clarity beats speed. Direction matters more than momentum.
Beyond Business
Alongside my work in startups and investing, I’m a licensed commercial pilot.
Aviation reinforced how I think about decision-making: preparation, systems, and accountability. The same principles apply to building companies - small mistakes compound quickly, and discipline matters.
Let’s Connect
I’m always interested in thoughtful conversations around early-stage companies, investing, and building things that last.
